Montrose lies west of Crested Butte and is about 2 hours from the ski resort. This is one of the most scenic drives in America. Along the way to Crested Butte, guests will pass the Black Canyon of the Gunnison, a smaller version of the Grand Canyon, with its steep canyons and sweeping vistas. Further along the way guests can also drive alongside the Blue Mesa Reservoir.
